La scultura riporta alla memoria antichi guerrieri ma ci parla della lotta quotidiana che l’uomo oggi conduce. Il guerriero, il custode, colui che vigila, difende e indica la via nella Società contemporanea e futura.
Una forma forse umana, futuribile, scheletrica a rappresentare il riposo del guerriero. L’uomo stanco di guerra ha deposto le armi ma vigila sulla pace e sulla libertà: la sua lancia senza punta urla un monito, invita a ricordare a non dimenticare.
Una struttura aerea, leggera, costruita con tondo pieno (diametro cm. 8) di bronzo, ingrossato nelle giunture mediante fusione della stessa materia così come la testa che diventa una grande formella fusa con il nobile materiale.

THE REST OF THE WARRIOR
The sculpture brings ancient warriors to mind but also speaks of the everyday struggle of man today. The warrior, the guardian, the one who watches, defends and shows the way in both contemporary and future society.
A light aerial structure, constructed with a complete solid circle (cm. 8 diameter) in bronze, thickened in the joints by a fusion of the same material and also in the head which is a large panel fused with the same noble material.
The measurements of the work are width cm. 150 x 250, length and height cm. 390 and positioned on a special base made of local stone.
